Mushroom-Spotting Walk & Cooking Demonstration
Come join us for Four Seasons of Foraging at Bob Straub State Park where we will embark on an exciting mushroom-spotting walk! Learn about different types of mushrooms and how to identify them in the wild. After the walk, enjoy a cooking demonstration where you can see how to incorporate your foraged mushrooms into delicious dishes. Don’t miss out on this unique opportunity to connect with nature and learn some new culinary skills!
This is a free event but registration will be capped at 20 attendees. Terrain at Bob Straub is uneven and sandy with few inclines. Pictures of the venue will be posted on Explore Nature’s Know Before You Go page before the event so you can plan accordingly.
